Portraits

Each portrait session is unique, designed to meet the objectives that you have for the images. Working with the photographer you will create a decision list from which the photographer will create a mood board to flesh out the concept for the portrait including color scheme, attire, background, props, and aesthetic.

The actual portrait photography session typically takes an hour and includes two or three outfits. Half-hour mini-sessions are available to shoot one outfit with possibly some minor changes (such as with and without a jacket or with and without a tie) . Sessions typically include a mix of standing and seated positions photographed from a number of camera angles. However, your session will be customized based on your objectives it could be longer and include more than one outfit and more than one background or location.

The photographer will select a number of images to lightly edit ("proofs") for you to select images to be fully edited and typically those will be available for you to review within two weeks of your photography session. Electronic versions of your files will be available about two weeks after you have selected images to be fully edited. For a one hour portrait session there would be about six final images. Additional images may be selected for additional fee and may require additional time. Various options for printed versions of images from small printes to large canvases are availalbe in addition to the digital image files.
